Forum Objectives

The principal objective of the Forum is to provide a focussed community of practice for those charged with implementing a records management strategy. By joining the Forum, members can share their knowledge and experiences and help each other attain best practice standards of excellence.

In addition to providing a forum where the attendees can learn from each other, we also introduce external sources of knowledge and expertise. This is by way of published material researched specifically for the topics in hand and by presentations from expert speakers.

Thirdly, the Forum, by means of its membership, will develop a repository of knowledge so that member organisations can be assured of the continuity of progress by building on previous work.

The Forum will additionally address future legislative and compliance requirements within the members’ business areas and help the delegates to anticipate and shape their strategies accordingly.
